This research it provides the highlights of importance of single parent in a child’s education

and the potential challenges faced by students raised by single parents. The common issue is to

recognize the works of single parent households may face additional problems. These problems

can include a lack of support, financial needs, and resources, which may impact the child’s

academic performance. Therefore in researching students raised by single parents its crucial to

consider how the absence of one parent may influence various aspects of the child’s

educational experience and academic achievement.

A significant of research exists in the current literature concerning the challenges in

academic, well-being and coping mechanism of a student who raised by a single parent. Some

of the existing research on this topic, dates back several years. Lacking of relevance to the

challenges of students who raised by a single parent and lack of research on this kind of topic.

There is a pressing need for update of studies that reflect current challenges of students who

raised by a single parent.

Most of the studies are focused on the parent not in the child's challenges and your coping

mechanisms. Studying the challenges and the coping mechanism of the students are great idea

to understand the perspective of the students and know what is their coping mechanism and

know how they handle this things by them selves.

Understanding how students challenges and their coping mechanisms in their academic

performance and emotional well being is crucial. Research state that students who raised by a

single parent has a negative impact in the academic performance and emotional development
of the students. Lack of support for the student, they can be affected the child emotionally and it

can result of lack of knowledge and poor attitude of the student.

Building on the importance of family involvement, it is crucial to recognize that understanding

the negative effects of this of this involvement is the key to education and well being equity.

The purpose of this study is to explore the lived experiences of the senior high school

students who raised by a single parent that significantly shapes the students academic

attainment and emotional development
