GRANT CALL 1 Thriving in the Community, Uplifting with Care

It is important that persons with disabilities have adequate living


and care support, and maintain their physical and mental well-
being. With a network of care in the community, caregivers and
persons with disabilities can harness their strengths and thrive
across different milestones in life.

Challenge Statement

achieve independent living, and physical and mental wellbeing in the

The grant supports new innovative ideas as well as the scaling up of existing ELI Grant Projects

Funding Guidelines
The Grant covers between 50% and 90% of the eligible expenses of the project. All projects must
commit to a minimum of one year and up to a maximum of three years.

Proposals are evaluated by an independent Evaluation Panel based on merits of the proposal and the type of
organisation.
Eligible expenses for claims include costs directly related to project development such as manpower, marketing

and outreach, equipment, software and consumables, third-party research and consultancy.

The Grant does not cover daily operation costs such as rental of office spaces, utilities, and manpower costs not
related to the project.

The final funding quantum and funding components are decided by the Evaluation Panel, and in some
situations, Tote Board. Grant applicants are expected to co-fund, or seek other funding sources to cover the
remaining expenses not covered by the Grant.

Collaboration

Proposal should leverage the strength of cross-sector partnerships to achieve a greater collective impact.

Sustainability

Proposals must show a sustainable, positive impact on the lives of person with disabilities or their caregivers
beyond the funding period

Innovation
Proposal is new or different from existing solutions in the disability sector.

Team Composition
Project team has the capability to implement the proposal successfully.

Needs Analysis
Proposal should address a valid need in the sector.

Reach
Proposal should develop plans to outreach to their target beneficiaries during funding period.

Scalability/Adaptability/Adoptability

Proposal should have potential to be scalable, adaptable and adoptable after the funding period.

After you apply Result


Upon receiving your completed application form, Shortlisted applicants will be notified via email to
you will receive an acknowledgement email. participate in the Incubation Phase.

The ELI team may contact you for further details After the Incubation Phase, applicants will present
