Release Notes
20.2
OpenText recommends that you read these Release Notes in conjunction with the documentation
included with the software package. If any conflicts exist, the Release Notes supersede the other
documentation.
We also recommend that you check OpenText My Support (https://support.opentext.com) for any
patches or documentation updates that may have been posted after the initial release of this product.
Document Pipelines are basic components in document-processing software and are used to ingest
metadata and content into an application while performing certain additional tasks. Document
Pipelines are the framework for application-specific pipelines.
An important principle for all Document Pipelines is that processing is always transactional. That
means that the processing status of the document is always defined – either it has been processed by
a specific DocTool or not – and no documents can get lost.
