Teacher's Day Celebration

2024
Theme:
Together4Teachers Date:
October 7, 2024
Time: 1:00 PM
Venue: BCC Covered
Court

John:

Andy Hargraves once said, “Teaching is a very emotional practice. It creates, it colors, it changes our
lives.” Certainly, there can be no better profession that educates, informs, inspires, encourages and at
the same me teaches us to inculcate a way of life and most importantly prepares us for a world that is
not easy to handle.

Ladies and gentlemen, a very good Afternoon to all of you. Today, we have gathered here to celebrate a
very special occasion - Teachers' Day! It's a day when we express our gratitude to the wonderful teachers
who have been guiding us on the path of knowledge and wisdom.

Joergie:

It’s a special occasion where we come together to show our appreciation, admiration, approval and
attention for our dedicated teachers. Under our theme “Together4Teachers.” Teachers are like
torchbearers who light up our lives with knowledge, and today, we are here to honor and appreciate
their tireless efforts.

Before we dive into the heart of our program, May I request everyone to please stand for the invocation
to be led by Biboy Aloy Tabarangao to be followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem to be
conducted by Amira Jasmin C. Nagales.

John:

Thank you, Biboy and Amira.

Before we proceed, let's reflect on the words of the great philosopher Aristotle, who said, "Educating the
mind without educating the heart is no education at all." Our teachers not only educate our minds but
also touch our hearts.

Joergie:

Now, to officially open our celebration, let’s welcome our Student Affairs and Services Coordinator,
Maam Hilda B. Babol, to share her opening remarks. A round of applause, please!

college administrator, Ma’am Maricel R. Penero to deliver an inspirational message. A big round of
