Letter To Home Center-Final
I am Michelle Montenegro, an aspiring International Student from the Philippines and will be taking
Graduate Diploma of Teaching Early Childhood Education (ECE) in Te Rito Maioha and the course will
commence on January 27, 2025. In line with this, I am writing to express my interest in finding a home
center where I can immerse myself 13 hours over two days per week in practical teaching experiences
and contribute to the growth of young learners. I have 9 years of teaching in Secondary and holding a
provisional practicing certificate issued by the Teaching Council in Aotearoa.
I am deeply passionate about fostering a love for learning in young children. I believe in creating a warm,
supportive, and culturally responsive environment for every child. I have an openness to learning and
adapting. I have researched your center and am impressed by your commitment to holistic child
development. Your play-based approach and focus on social-emotional learning resonate with my own
philosophy.
I kindly request the opportunity to observe and participate in your center as part of my teacher training.
Whether through paid part-time or volunteering and assisting, I am eager to learn from your
experienced staff.
I would greatly appreciate the chance to discuss this further or arrange an interview. Please let me know
if there is a convenient time for us to connect. Thank you for considering my application, and I look
forward to the possibility of joining your team.
Nga mihi,
Michelle Montenegro
