    OFFICE OF THE SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN

    A RESOLUTION OF THE SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN OF BARANGAY CATARATAN ADOPTING THE OFFICIAL LOGO OF THE
    BARANGAY CATARATAN, ALLACAPAN, CAGAYAN, SUBJECT TO EXISTING LAWS, RULES AND REGULATIONS.

    Resolution No.009

    Series of 2024

    WHEREAS, The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Cataratan is a basic unit government unit governed under
    R.A. 7160 otherwise known as the Local Government Code of 1991 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations.

    WHEREAS, Section 22 (a) and (b) of the Local Government Code provides that every government unit, as a
    cooperation, shall have the power to have and use a corporate seal and may modify at any time;

    WHEREAS, the official logo serves the purpose of having a concrete symbol of its authority and
    professionalism, ready to conduct effective business operations. This logo also expresses the cultural/historical existence
    of Barangay Cataratan.

    WHEREAS, The Official logo of Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Cataratan shall appear as illustrated bellow
    and explained as follow:

    The stick man logo symbolizes the activeness, helpfulness, and the embodiment of camaraderie of the
    youths of Barangay Cataratan. Followed by the color blue represents peace and unity, red represents strength and
    courage, yellow represents hope and optimism, that shows the hue of the Philippine Flag and the green shows the love
    of the youths of Barangay Cataratan to the environment. The islands of the Philippines symbolize the representation of
    the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Cataratan that we belong to the Philippine nations and the colorful banners and
    stick man represent the unity in diversity of the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Cataratan and its Constituents, the
    flag of the Philippines stand for the nationalism and patriotism of the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Cataratan to
    our country, the sun is a symbol of hope and optimism, it represent the community’s belief in a brighter future. And
    lastly, the wave symbolizes the challenges that the community faces. It represents the community’s resilience and
    determination. The logo is a powerful symbol of the community of Barangay Cataratan. It represents the community
    values and it’s hope and commitment to worked together to overcome challenges and achieve a brighter future.

    WHEREAS, The Official Logo shall be affixed to all communications and forms of the Sangguniang
    Kabataan of Barangay Cataratan such as but not limited to, letterheads, envelopes, memo pads, legal documents
    required, printed materials (flyers, posters) and for online purposes (website, social, media,). The same will also be used
    in uniforms and announcements.

    NOW THEREFORE, on motion of SK Kagawad Kathlyn Mae Domingo duly seconded by SK Secretary
    Jayson Espinosa and SK Council present.

    RESOLVE AS IT HAS BEEN RESOLVED, to approve the above-mentioned resolution.

    RESOLVE, FINALLY, that copies of this resolution be furnished to all concerned for their information and
    appropriate action.

    ADOPTED AND APPROVED, by the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Cataratan in session this July 23,
    2024.

    APPROVED, by all the members of the Sangguniang Kabataan Council present.
