"Chapter II Methodology provides a detailed overview of the research methods and techniques
employed in this study. By outlining our approach to data collection, analysis, and interpretation, this
chapter offers readers a clear understanding of the systematic processes guiding our research. Through
a concise exploration of our methodology, readers will gain valuable insights into the rigor and precision
that underpins this study."
Research Instrument
Test questionnaires will be used by the researchers to gather the data. The researchers will gather test
questions from General Mathematics modules to create test questionnaires that will collect the required
data.
The researchers will send an approval letter to the CTNHS principal, asking for permission for conducting
this study. If the letter was signed successfully, the researchers will conduct the test questions to the
respondents through the prepared questionnaires from the General Mathematics modules. After
conducting the test questions to the respondents, the researchers will organize the data and relate the
students readiness of grade 10 students to the senior high school mathematics.
This research is a combination of descriptive and relation type of study that will focus on the Grade 10
students readiness in senior high school mathematics and the demographic profile of the respondents.
The first research question aims to collect basic information from the participants that will later be used
as independent variables. Frequency distribution and percentage will be used as analytical tools for this
research question. For Research Question 2, the researchers will analyze the data gathered using
distribution statistics to determine the level of readiness of the respondents. For research question
number 3, the researchers will use frequency distribution, they will do this by sorting the respondents
score of the given set of mathematical questions. The researchers will then use frequency distribution
from the gathered data and draw a conclusion from that if there is a significant relationship between the
respondents demographic profile and and their readiness on senior high school mathematics.
