- Possessive adjectives:
• Usage: Possessive adjectives show that something belongs to a person
• Example: This is Harry’s bag. This is his bag.
- Possessive pronouns:
• Usage: We use possessive pronouns in a place of a full noun phrase to
avoid repeating words.
• Example: The red car is my car. The blue car is yours.
3. Articles
- We use a/an to talk about something for the first time.
Ex: There’s a laptop on the table.
- We use the when we mention something again.
Ex: The book is about Maths.
- We use zero articles to talk about things in general.
Ex: I love books and flowers.
4. Present simple
- Usage: to talk about facts, habits and routines.
- Time expressions:
• Adverbs of frequency: always; usually; often; sometimes; rarely; never
• Phrases: every Monday/ week/ …….; each Monday/ week/ ….; once/ twice a
week/ month….;
- Forms:

- Spelling rules:
1. We add -s to most verbs: play → plays.

- Usage: to talk about things happening now.
- Time expressions: now; right now; at the moment; at present; today ….
