The Bulgarian company Smart Eco Water is a manufacturer of modular compact
desalination equipment.
Informational letter
Dear all,
We are honored to present to you our brand new, revolutionary device “Module” -
desalination equipment for obtaining clean water from marine and brackish water.
Desalination module with a productivity of 500 m3/day (2552 x 1096 x 1425)
This one of a kind super-compact desalination module combines solutions to all

desalination in a single device:
- Economical production of clean drinking water,
- Unique corrosion resistance of materials in sea water (up to 15 years!),
- Almost complete absence of pipe connections
- Fundamentally new axial-plunger pump combined with a waste heat exchanger,
which allows to significantly increase productivity and permeate withdrawal

The cost of obtaining drinking water (with pre-treatment) that meets all the requirements
of World Health Organization (WHO), EU, USERA and Sanitary Regulations and Norms
(SRN) is no more than 0.4 $/m3, which is significantly lower than that of the best
examples of such equipment around the world to date.
For 1 cubic meter of purified water, the device consumes an average of about 2.6 kilowatts of
electricity, and can be equipped with solar panels or a wind generator.
This prime cost makes it possible to use desalinated water not only for drinking purposes,
but also for irrigation of farmland, extinguishing fires, as well as cooling reactors,
turbines, etc.
The desalination plant includes:
1. Base-distribution unit OR2 with electronic control system;

2. Desalination unit, consisting of:
- Desalination unit;
- Hydraulic drive, which combines the functions of a high pressure pump, a waste heat
exchanger and a booster pump patented by our company.
3. To ensure the safety of the main components of the equipment and uninterrupted
operation, a pre-treatment system is installed before the water is fed to the desalination
plant. (Pre-treatment system is set up with taking into account the specifications of the
source water’s chemical analysis)
The price of the "Module" is significantly lower than that of similar devices found around
the world.
Delivery of the product also includes warranty policy and maintenance services.

One of the main unique features of the “Module” is that an automatic desalination plant
of any productivity can be assembled by simply combining modules of the same
productivity with each other like “Lego” pieces. The portable plant can be assembled in
as little as 15 minutes and, thanks to its extremely small dimensions, can be installed
anywhere.

Currently, "Modules" of various productivity successfully desalinate brackish and sea

water in a number of countries, including: Italy, Egypt, Iran, Malaysia, Greece, Vietnam,
Australia, South Africa, Tanzania, UAE, Sri Lanka, Turkey, France, Japan, England,
Morocco, India, Indonesia and others.
Orders already placed from Cameroon, Chile, Peru, Cuba, Morocco, Uzbekistan etc.
In the world, the desalination Module is installed on modern ships and yachts.

Our plants are successfully operating in restaurant and hotel complexes on the islands of
Sardinia and Elba in Italy. The use of desalination modules there turned out to be so
profitable that it made it possible for enterprises to almost completely abandon the
purchase of fresh water.

high-quality drinking water
preparation of water (including sea water) for cooling heat-generating equipment
Installing 5 - 20 desalination plants is more profitable than the construction of one

factory, because:
- There is no need to upgrade or build a complex plumbing system to transport water.
- That leads to saving on the cost of additional equipment, material and services.
- Local desalination complexes are much more compact and environmentally friendly
than a large plant. Building one huge plant requires a construction site of the same scale.
- The purpose of a large plant is no different than that of ten similar small ones, but the
costs in the first case are much higher.
- The possibility of a gradual implementation of the project. Which makes it easier to
attract investors, and prioritize solving problems in the areas with the least fresh water
supply.
With the existing production capacities, our company is ready and capable to fully ensure
the manufacture and installation of equipment for brackish and sea water desalination
“Modules” for each well that deviates from the standards.
