The Winsealxp laser engraving software can support 10 exoteric format graphs,it transits the graphs to
thelaser engraving machines directly.Users design graphs by CorelDRAM or AI,only export the one graph
which is in 10 graphs,then it can be submitted to machine.In other words,the Laser engraving software
provide the function which can design the graph just like CorealDraw and AI.But some users don’t read
how to use engraving in details,they do not know this function entirely.The other users think it is not
convenient to switch back and forth between those two softwares.

CorelDraw laser engraving software--Introdution of CorelDraw

Laser engraving--CorelLASER
CorelLaser is a laser engraving plug-in which was insert to CorelDraw.It can engrave the designed
graphs in CorelDraw as convenience as printing.
So far,There are a lots of CorelDRAW laser engraving plug-in.It can be divided to Non-Tightly integrated
laser engraving plug-in and Tightly integrated laser engraving plug-in.The Non-Tightly integrated type
exports CorelDraw designed graphs by laser engraving plug-in behind the scene,then send the graphs to
laser engraving software.So users who user Non-Tightly integrated type not only need to start CorelDraw
but also laser engraving software,need to switch back and forth between them.In other words,drawing by
CorelDraw but engraving by another software.In Brief,The Non-Tightly integrated type only do one thing
that exports the designed graphs by CorelDRAW and send them to engraving software.The Tightly
integrated CorelDRAW laser engraving plug-in integrate itself with CorelDRAW just like a part of
CorelDRAW.Users can engrave by CorelDRAW.The CorelLASER is a Tightly integrated laser engraving
plug-inlike a part of CorelDRAW.
The current CorelDRAW engraving plug-in uses BMP and plt as the data.BMP is specialized in cleaning
engraving and cutting.pltBMP is for cleaning engraving,plt is for cutting,it also can engrave and cut,it seems
perfect.But the disadvantage is that BMP is not suit for exporting large image.plt can export large image,but
it always for cutting not for cleaning engraving.So this causes large dimension laser engraving machine only
like a small dimension machine when its cleaning engraving.It restrict the function of laser engraving
machine.The difference of CorelLASER and other CorelDRAW plug-in is that it doesn’t restrict the date
on Cleaning engraving and cutting,uses vector as the date in advance when its engraving and cutting.No
matter users choose what to be the data like WMF/BMP/PLT,it can cleaning engraving and cutting,not have
to choose BMP for cleaning engraving or PLT for cutting,also it can satisfy the demands of large dimension
processing.For example,the user wants to clean engrave a graph(1m*1m),if export 1000dpi BMP graph,it
will have 1.6 billion pixel.In fact,if not reduce the exporting precision,the cleaning engraving breadth is only
30cm or even smaller If use the data of BMP as the ClrelDRAW laser engraving plug-in,also the speed is
very slow.But the vector is the basis of cleaning engraving of the CorelLASER engraving plug-in,it can
export high precision 1m large image easily.It is not only prepare for the large breadth cle aning engraving
but also the super precision laser engraving in the further.In the CorelLASER,if use WMF as the date,1000dpi
precision can export 1.6m large image for cleaning engraving,if use EMF as the date,it can export 109km
image in theory.CorelLaser obtain the advantage of engraving breadth and exporting precision when it uses
BMP.
The point is not all versions of CorelDRAW can export plt data perfectly.For example export plt data
in CorelDRAW11,it can not use filling and delete overlapping normally.So it will maybe meet the
problem which can not use some functions only use BMP and plt as the data simply in some versions of
CorelDRAW.Some users complain the processed graphs are not complete in some CorelDRAW engraving
plug-in,the reason is there are some problems when CorelDRAW exporting graphs data.Engraving plug-in is
belong to CorelDRAW so it inherits the problems.Also the plug-in designers are not able to modify the
problems of CorelDraw.After we tested 6 versions of CorelDRAW carefully,we found there are no problems
of WMF and BMP(BMP will crash when exports large images),and plt has problems in some CorelDRAW
versions,this is the reason why it is a little trouble to use some plug-in.Because the plug-in designers fixed
BMP for cleaning engraving and plt for cutting.However if there is a problem when exporting plt in some
CorelDRAW versions,it means the machine lost engraving function.The CorelLASER is different with other
CorelDRAW plug-in,it supports 7 different graphs data not just BMP and plt.When some graph data is not
normal,there is a chance to choose other data.It won’t make the machine to loose an important function.On the
other hand,CorelLASER does not restrict the data of cleaning engraving or cutting,so it can cleaning engrave
and cut as long as it exports one of 7 data correctly,it means CorelLASER can work well in the different
versions of CorelDRAW.

When CorelLASER was installed to CorelDRAW

It will start CorelDRAW and install CorelLASER to CorelDRAW when you double-click CorelLASER icon
if you did not start CorelLASER automatically.Double-click CorelLASER icon,it will install CorealDRAW
plug-in in the started CorelDRAW.As the following image.

Note:CorelDRAW date transmission setting means CorelDRAW will send what kind of format

Set CorelDRAW data transmission

CorelDRAW date transmission setting means CorelDRAW will send what kind of format of the graphs to
the machine.For example,most of CorelDRAW plug-in support BMP and plt,BMP for cleaning engraving,
plt for cutting.CorelLASER can support 7 formats graphs.If there is a problem when the users export some
graphs in by some CorelDRAW,they can direct CorelDRAW export another graphs to laser engraving
machine.

Users assign one type data.CorelDRAW will

transferthe engraving graphs to this type data
and sens it to themachine.We suggest WMF for
engraving,plt for cutting.Normally choose export
by plug-in automatic optimization.

Assign engraving area-All pages,current page and Note 1

selected.Please select the part if you just want to
partial engrave,Set engraving area‘Selected’.Pixel
step length depends engraving precision.Pixel
step length is bigger,precision is lower,but the

Generalized engraving operation in CorelDRAW

If users designed the graphs,just need to click the engrave button on the CorelLASER toolbar for
engraving,click cut button on the toolbar for cutting.Enter into the engraving manage page as follows.

Advanced engrave.Need

Generalized engrave means process graph which was design,it means process one by one,it fits
generalized engraving machine users.This mode is low efficiency also is not suit for mass engraving.But it
is easier to use than advanced engrave.Of course,it is easy to use advanced engrave in CorelDRAW as
CorelDRAW will help users about the details.
To engrave in CorelDRAW is more convenient than exporting graphs from CorelDRAW to specialized
engraving software to engrave.Firstly,do not need to consider the size and dpi precision of the
graphs.CorelDRAW plug-in will calculate the size,set the precision,optimizing and manage data
automatically.It will engrave the graphs in real size as designed.Users need to set the size and dpi precision
if export graphs from CorelDRAW to specialized engraving software as the software is an independent
software,it can not order CorelDRAW needs to set by users.Secondly,the machine can do more things also
it obtains higher efficiency by CorelDRAW powerful drawing ability.

Notice:CorelLASER does not restrict BMP for engraving or PLT for cutting.Any format graphs can
engrave and cut.But If use PLT to cut,it will process single-line cutting no matter how much thickness of
line is.If use other formats to cut,then you need to set the thickness of line to be 0.01mm.

Advanced engrave in CorelDRAW

At first,explain layering engraving more of laser engraving machine:distinguish engraving or cutting by

the color of graphs.For example,engrave red graph,cut green graph.So take the red part of the dress to
engrave,then take the green part to cut.But there is a disadvantage of this way:It can not engrave if the graphs
is not closed.Because it will only fill closing graphs by PLT in any CorelDRAW.There is a problem if users
want to engrave the following two graphs by PLT:

Arc.It can not be filled because not

Round.It was all filled even if it closed.
closing.Also it maybe will lost.

The engraving result maybe right when all graphs are closed.But in the complex graphs,we can not ensure
all graphs are closed.It is normal there is an arc or a curve.So PLT is easy to Color Separation but not layering.
It can design all graphs to be closed,but it is a little complex.Check the following graphs,It is easy to design a
segment to a closed rectangle,But how about the arc?Or grotesque graphs?

Change arc or segment to be like these.Is it How about change curve to be like this?
difficult?

It can design a new graph to be a close graph.But we don’t know it is a closed graph when we found a
ready-made graph.Of course you can check the graphs one by one,also change the graphs to close graphs.
But would you like to modify 1000 graphs?
But it is not enough a graph which was consist by closed graphs.Every close graph needs to be independent
graph.If one graph includes another graphs,then it can not engrave.As follows:

The left graph is a rabbit head which was consist by all closed graphs.But the head includes
eyes and mouth.It can not engrave eyes or mouth if engrave by PLT.

There are a few situations which can not be engraved by PLT color separations.There are a few examples
to prove Limitation of PLT color separations.In fact,the result are always not correct when use PLT color
separations to engrave,also users can not figure out what kind of graphs can be engraved.Some users think
there is a problem when the laser engraving software is processing the graphs,but they don’t know the
limitation of PLT color separations.Also they think it is complex when the manufacturer demonstrate
PLT.Users don’t know the reason why they can not engrave the correct graphs.

The engraving software eliminate PLT color separations because its limitation.We will introduce a new
engrave mode which can make sure the engraving result is correct.There is no limitation of this mode.If
users want to engrave the panda also need to cut it around the green line,the picture as follows:

About the above picture,there are 6 pandas need to engrave,also need to cut when it was engraved.How to
do this by CorelLASER engraving plug-in?It is easy to do this.
Step 1:Put 6 Pandas in the correct position,then use group function of CorelDRAW,make 6 pandas to be
overall.Then we establish engraving layers of 6 Pandas.The picture as follows:

Step 2:Draw the cutting line.Also use group function of CorelDRAW to make it to be overall,then establish a
cutting layer(Two group:Engraving layer and cutting layer) 6 green rounds in the following picture:

Step 3:Select cutting group and delete the outline of cutting line.It is inconvenient to delete it one by one.It needs
to delete it one by one when use PLT color separations to engrave.But if you are similar to CorelDRAW,you can

The above content is that we introduce CorelLASER layering engraving mode by engraving 6 Pandas and
cutting all of them in one time.This mode obtains the following advantages by comparing with PLT color
separations:
1. There is no request of the engraving graphs. PLT requests graphs must be consist of small closed graphs,
no overlapping,no including.It must be the independent small closed graphs.In brief,PLT has a restrict of the
graphs.TTF is suit for PLT graphs.So normally there is no problems to engrave characters by PLT.TTF is closed
curve outlines,please check the following picture:

So the reason why there is a problem when use PLT

color separations.It is because graph features can not
satisfy with the demands of PLT when CorelDRAW
fills it.
2. Avoid the lower precision occurs by PLT stroke.For example to engrave characters.There is no influence
when you colored the characters one more time if the characters are big.But sometimes it can not recognize
the characters if it is small.The following picture showed Normal Character,WMF character and PLT character.
WMF character is same as Normal one.But PLT character is thickness.

3. Supports 65536 layers.For example,we showed two layers above.But users can establish more engraving
or cutting layering,’Add task’ constantly.
4. Easy to large-format engrave array engrave.Use array to avoid the machine can not large-format
engrave.CorelLASER supports large-format engrave,no need to use array engrave.

PLT color separations layering engraving technology is the most popular one.But we eliminate it even if it
is a popular one as it is not stable all the time.Also users don’t know what kind of graphs can be engraves
correctly by PLT.In fact,If we only use BMP for engraving and PLT for cutting,PLT technology is still useful.
But only the large-format laser engraving machine needs layering engraving function,but BMP is not suitable
for exporting large format graphs.So users won’t be satisfy with this is use large-format machine as the
small-format one.
CorelLASER can eliminate PLT technology because of using WMF/EMF(Not BMF or PLT) for cleaning
engraving.We only use PLT of cutting.WMF/EMF is data formation of Windows printer.It means the printer
Drivers transfer CorelDRAW graphs to WMF/EMF when users use CorelLASER to print then send to printer.
So the quality of WMF/EMF is perfect.But one point,some engraving software can support WMF/EMF,but it
transfer WMF/EMF to BMP then process it,it can not transfer WMF/EMF to laser engraving machine order.
So this kind of software can support WMF/EMF,but it still can not large-format engrave.No matter what format
the graph is,it needs to be transferred to BMP,then it can cleaning engraving.

We will show the convenience of CorelLASER large-format.The picture as follows,there are 4 graphs
on one material,it is a long distance between each other(Like 90cm).It needs to engrave 4 times if cleaning
engraving by BMP as it can not support large-format engraving.The problem is how many graphs there then
how many times you need to locate it.But it can make 4 graphs to one graphs then engrave,it only needs to
locate one time in CorelLASER.There is a problem of locating,for example,if you engraved the other
graphs,there is a problem of locating last one,then everything is useless.In CorelLaser,it only needs to locate
one time no matter how many small graphs need to be engraved on one material.

Appendix:

1. CorelLASER supports CorelDRAW11/12/X3/X4/X5/X6.This Tutorial uses CorelDRAW X4 as the example.

So the screen shot is CorelDRAW X4.But CorelLASER is not only for CorelDRAW X4.

It shows CorelDRAW X4 in this tutorial

as we used CorelDRAW not CorelLASER
only supports CorelDRAW X4.If users
install CorelDRAW 12 it will show
CorelDRAW 12.

2. This tutorial is mainly for engraving.Please refer to our other tutorial.

3. We are trying to make laser engraving as easy as printing in CorelLASER.
4. Our exploitation is ingenuity also we will eliminate the imperfect traditional technology.For example
like PLT color separations layering engraving technology,it is with less application value because it has
serious request of the graphs for cleaning engraving.It will make useless products,waist material,sometimes
make the users suspect the machine quality.Because users seems don’t know the disadvantage of PLT
technology,they will only suspect the machine quality.
5.Our tutorial involves technology,and analyzes the disadvantage of traditional technology.For example
the disadvantage of BMP for cleaning engraving is that can not export large-format graphs,PLT can
export large-format graphs when it is for cleaning engraving but it restricts the graphs features.So we
decode WMF/EMF vector directly in the basis of printers’ graphs(WMF/EMF),also compile to laser
processing order.It is not a large-format graph(1000dpi precision,1m*1m) in CorelLASER.But in BMP,
it is a giant project.
