H: - A delightful afternoon to all!

H: - We request everyone to kindly rise and extend a hearty


welcome to our esteemed dignitaries.

R: - On this significant day, we have our chief guest, Rev.


Fr. Majish Mathew, the Principal SFS High School, and our
principal, Rev. Fr. Staney Rodrigues, the principal of SFS
PU College, whose presence, brings great magnitude to
this occasion. We are honoured to have you with us,
reverend fathers.

H: - We request our distinguished dignitaries to occupy the


seats in the front row.
H: - Let us welcome them with an exuberant round of
applause.

R: - We’re immensely grateful to have you amidst us on this


memorable occasion.

R: - Thank you, dignitaries.

H: - “Art is where imagination finds its form.”

“It lives in every song, every story, every sculpture, and every
performance, expressing the full spectrum of human
experience with limitless creativity.”

(H) On this splendid note, I, Harshitha --(R) and I, Ria, deem


it a great honour and privilege to host the inaugural ceremony
of the cultural fest-VIBHINA-2024!

H & R: - Welcome to VIBHINA-2024!

R: - We are thrilled to have you all here today for this much-
awaited cultural fiesta, where creativity and talent take the
centre stage.

H: - You can feel the excitement in the air. There’s something


about today that just feels... electric, doesn’t it?

R: - Indeed! Today is all about celebrating art, music, and


performance. Our students have worked hard to make this
remarkable day.

H: - let’s take a moment to remember that events like these


show us the importance of culture in building bonds and
inspiring imagination.

As we gather here today, let us start this important day on the
right note, a moment to centre ourselves with a prayer,
bringing focus, peace, and harmony to the proceedings.
Prayer is a bridge between our hearts and the divine, a time for
reflection, gratitude, and finding strength in the presence of
something greater than ourselves.

To invoke peace and positivity, we invite our heavenly nyms to


lead us in a prayer song.

Thank you for such a soulful prayer.

On this spirited day, 'welcome' is not just a greeting; it is an
invitation to immerse ourselves in the rich tapestry of
culture, talent, and shared joy that defines this resonant
day.

Let me call upon my fellow desalite, Arpitha, to extend an


invigorating welcome address.

“A single lamp can light a thousand others and yet it’s
brilliance is never diminished.”
Light has always symbolised knowledge, hope and
enlightenment. It is our custom to begin any event with
lighting the ceremonial lamp.
May I request—
 Our honourable chief guest, Rev. Fr. Majish Mathew,
 our beloved principal, Rev. Fr. Staney Rodrigues,
 Vibhina committee chief- Jagdeesh sir,
 our college cultural secretary- Jhanavi,
 Red house captain- Sneeha R and blue house Capitan -
Shirisha.V,
 green house captain-Shalini A and yellow house captain
Rimon Shijo,
to light the lamp, to dispel ignorance and compel radiance.
We request our dignitaries to come forward and light the lamp.

around them, much like a vibrant painting brightens a room.”
Today, we are like a ship embarking on a grand journey, and
every voyage needs a guiding star. To tell us more about his
outstanding personage, I would like to invite Suman to
introduce our chief guest, Rev. Fr. Majish to the audience.

Thank you, Suman, for introducing the chief guest of this event
to the audience.

We are truly grateful for your presence today, father.

Listening is an art in itself.
It is the perfect moment for our young desalites to get
enlightened with a fresh perspective, to boost their
morale, lift up their spirits and enthusiasm for the
upcoming events.

It is with great anticipation that we invite our chief guest, Rev.


Fr. Majish, to share his valuable insights and wisdom with us.

Today, we open the doors to creativity and expression,
where every voice can be heard. Let us turn the page to a
vibrant chapter of connections, unity, and celebration.

I humbly invite our Chief Guest, Rev. Fr. Majish Mathews,


escorted by our principal, Rev. Fr. Staney Rodrigues, to
officially declare VIBHINA open and mark the beginning of
this cultural extravaganza.

Now may I request our dignitaries to take their seats on the


dais.

It is such a fulfilling experience to honour the cheerful,
approachable and dynamic personality, Rev. Fr. Majish
Mathew.

And to express our heartfelt appreciation for your presence,


we now move to the felicitation of our Chief Guest.
May I request our beloved principal, Rev.Fr. Staney Rodrigues
to lead the felicitations.

Now here’s something special, we have a mesmerizing


performance lined up — Les Ailes Sonores will be
performing a French song, transporting us to the heart of
France with their melodies.
Let’s welcome them with a huge round of applause!

a guiding influence encourages us to flow toward our goals."

It’s time to welcome the guiding force of our institution, our


principal, Rev. Fr. Staney Rodrigues, to share his thoughts and
