Philosophical Statement
As a practicum, I want to have good classroom management by making the classroom environment well-
lit, well-ventilated, and friendly which will promote participation from my students. In this classroom,
differences are valued and considered as well as collaboration among students and teachers. As a
practicum, I will be doing my best to uphold these ideas and make improvements to them after asking
myself the following; are the students actively participating? are the students comfortable in their
learning environment? are the students learning in my teaching?

Classroom Rules and procedures

I'll be having 4 rules that will be set at the very beginning, these are; (1) respect everyone; (2) do it as
fast as you can; (3) actively participate; (4) report to the class regularly. The procedures are as follows.
greeting the students, praying, picking up trash and arranging chairs, asking class beadle for absents,
motivation, objectives, discussion, activity, checking, summary, assignment, and closing prayer.

Teacher-Student Relationships
Interaction with the students will depend on their attitudes and background also. We need to consider a
lot of things so that we avoid disrespecting their religions and identities. We also need to be fair and
avoid favoritism. We need to act not just as a teacher but also a parent, just like the saying that we are
their second parents. That’s why proper guidance and setting boundaries with them is important.

Schedules and Timeframes

Class schedule is very important and to organize it we need to set a specific time for every class we have,
currently, Juan L. teachers have 50 minutes every lesson, and getting that in mind will help in creating a
good lesson that will maximize the time. As for making the students focus, making a fun interactive
activity and avoiding a teacher-centered approach for every lesson might help.

Classroom Structures, Design and Arrangements

Classroom environment is a big factor in the students learning, to make one, we should consider having
spaces where books and other learning materials are displayed. Making enough space for movement will
also help in transitioning to group activities and fun interactive games.

Classroom Safety Rules and Procedures

To ensure safety and security, adding rules like being safe, and being kind to others will help. But of
course, students are part of this rule-making so that everyone knows the rules and agrees to them. They
can also add more rules especially those that are experiencing bullying.

Strategies for Rewards and Consequences

Rewards and consequences are important in implementing rules, as this will motivate them to follow.
The strategies are; it should be clearly stated and everyone should agree on it. Praising or giving
tokens/points to those who follow the rules and removing privilege to those that violate them, if it was
repeated the consequence should be level up.
NOTICE
1. Classroom management is crucial in creating a good and manageable classroom environment. It
helps the teacher prevent bad behaviors of the students while also promoting learning to them
or life lessons.
2. Utilizing the information in creating my classroom management plan will help to maximize the
plan. It will help in making the rules realistic, appropriate, motivating, and rewarding.
3. I noticed that students and the physical structures are well order and manageable, it also enable
to have a more conducive learning environment.
4. All the items in the learning management plan address the definite needs of the students, hence
the plan suites their needs. However, there are instances that the plan was not followed which
result in modification of the plan.

ANALYZE
1. The rule respecting everyone was followed consistently which results to a more conducive,
orderly and friendly learning setting.
2. The most difficult to implement was the diverse type of my learners, their home orientation and
participation issues which is very challenging to solicit from the students since some has learning
difficulties and seemingly passive and nonchalant. Moreover, attendance is seemingly not good
specially in the lower section.

REFLECTION
My realization after creating and implementing my classroom management plan is that it will
greatly help in managing my class while also creating a conducive learning environment. Furthermore, if
we meet a problem regarding our plan, we can make improvements to them making the plan better than
before.

WRITE ACTION RESEARCH PROMPTS

OBSERVE
The challenges that I encountered during the writing of my classroom management plan were the
diverse type of my learners, their home orientation and participation issues which is very challenging to
solicit from the students since some has learning difficulties and seemingly passive and nonchalant.
Moreover, attendance is seemingly not good specially in the lower section.

REFLECT
I hope to address these challenges by
1. Designing learning activities that are inclusive which cater their learning needs.
2. Conducting home visitation to understand learners' attitude and promote attendance.
3. Strengthen my relationship with them by making them feel that they are important through reward
and recognition.

PLAN
My plans to improve these solutions I enumerated are
1) talk to my CT to discuss my offered solution to the challenges i encountered. 2) present and discuss it
to my learners for clear implementation.
3) conduct parent conference with the guidance of my CT to discuss the proposed solution on the
challenges/problems encountered.
4) consistent implementation of the solution.
