What is an Analysis?
Analysis is the process of an in-depth
examination, evaluation, and investigation
into the significance of a literary piece, a
moment in history, a work of art, a historic
figure, or any other relevant, complex
topic. Analysis occurs when a person
examines something for the "why" or the
"how" questions, not the "who" or "when"
perspectives. When analyzing something,
a person will focus on specific pieces of
information, examining how the smaller,
separate points relate to and build up the
larger piece and its relevance to a topic.
