I. Objectives

At the end of the 60 minutes discussion the students will be able to:

1. Identify the common drafting tools, equipment and materials.


2. Familiarize the uses of drafting tools, equipment and materials.
3. Appreciate the value of each tools, equipment and materials.

II. Subject Matter

Topic: Uses of drafting tools, equipment and materials

Reference: Drafting Volume 2 (book) by German M. Manaois

Materials: Manila paper, Pentil pen, Pictures and visual aid

III. Procedure

A. Introduction
Good morning class, how are you this morning?
Okay very good.
B. Review/Recall
Ok class, who among you here can give me a summary of our discussion
last meeting? Ok thank you.
C. Motivation
Class what if we don’t have any tools, equipment or materials. What will
happen to our surroundings?
D. Presentation
Class our today is about the uses of drafting tools, equipment and
materials. We are going to tackle those common tools, equipment and materials
that are used in drafting.
First is pencil this is an important tool in drafting or drawing. The most
commonly used in drawing are 3H, 2H, H, F, HB and B. It is always necessary to
keep a good point at the end of a pencil. In order to have a good result in your
drawing. Next is T-square, Triangles, Rule or Scale, Compass, Drawing board,
Eraser, and Protractor after discussing the uses of each tools. Did you understand
class? Do you have any clarification?

IV. Evaluation

If none get one half sheet of paper.
