The given chart depicts the statistics of foreign travelers to three different regions of a nation
on the European continent.
Taken as a whole, a brief assessment of the information reveals that the coastal area
attracted the largest number of visitors in most years, and the mountains were almost the
least attractive to overseas visitors. The number of overseas visitors who landed in the three
regions increased gradually over the period.
To begin with, in 1987, there were about 40,000 overseas travelers visiting the coast, and
that dropped to roughly 35,000 in 1992. The coast witnessed a significant rise, with
approximately 75,000 in 2007. Additionally, in the middle stages, many visitors to the
mountains accounted for from 20,000 to around 30,000 before growing to approximately
35,000 in 2007.
For the remaining data, the survey of foreign visitors who went to lakes climbed rapidly
during the period of the first 15 years, peaking at roughly 75,000 in 2002. After that, this
figure dropped substantially in the next few years, especially reaching 50,000 in 2007.
