So, now I will group you into 3


groups, were we will be mixed - The pupils are doing the activity
with grade 2 and grade 3.

In this activity I will give each


group a paper cups and the
group 1 will have a 10 paper
cups, the group 2 will need to
have 15 paper cups and the last
group should have 20 paper
cups. And what you will do
with that paper cups? You going
to build a pyramid using that.

So what is counting
number?

Counting numbers is a way


how to set a number to each
objects or item in a group so
that we can find out how
many there are. To help us
to understand a quality or
amount of things.

Example: Let’s say that you


have a basket of four
apples. When you count the
apples, you start with the
number 1 and continue in a
sequence. 12,3,4. By
counting the apples, you can
determine that there are four
apples in the basket.

So did you understand what - Yes teacher
