3. (b) Save the Planet :
Due to increasing environmental pollution our
planet, earth is in danger. God saves the mother
earth. People living in different countries of the
earth celebrate 22nd April as Earth's day. After
celebrating the Earth's Day, we forget to take
necessary steps to keep it clean and beautiful.
Perhaps, the Earth is the only planet of solar
system where life exists. Earth has many living
and non-living things. There are many creature;
big or small. There are beautiful fruit plants, and
flower plants. There are many non-living things
on the earth such as mountains, seas etc. The
existence of all living and non- living things on the
Earth is in danger due to environmental pollution.
There are different forms of pollution, Water
Pollution, Air Pollution and Noise Pollution . Pollution of all these kinds results

from the greed of men to get more and more

money. Trees have been cut down on a large
scale. A large number of industries have been set
up in almost every developed and developing
nations. Unbalanced industrial growth is the main
cause of Air and Water Pollution. The waste
material of the industries is dumped on the surface
of earth and in the rivers. This waste of the
industries produces different poisonous gases
which pollutes the air and water.
We also face the Noise Pollution. Today
vehicles produce much noises all the time and
noises are generally deafening. They cause
tension, raise blood pressure and lead to several
mental diseases. We must use some new technique
so that they may not produce deafening sound. We
have to take necessary steps to avoid all types of
pollutions. God save our planet the Earth.
4. A Book Should Not Be Judged By Its Cover

Last year I went to see "Book Fair' organised by 'National Book Trust' of India at Hazarat
Ganj in Lucknow. The book fair was indeed a spectacle to watch. There were many
hoardings big and small hanging everywhere. In the big ground there were about a dozen of
halls. Each hall segmented into many stalls managed by different publishing houses of
national repute. These stalls displayed a large number of books. There were many
children's books, subject oriented books, books on language and literature. A large number
of students were reading the books of Science, Technology and General Knowledge books.
I kept on going from one stall to another. Every stall was impressive, but attracted me most
due to the special seating arrangement . To add to this , all the readers were being served
with tea and coffee. After taking a cup of coffee, I entered that stall. I read books of
different competitions. General Knowledge's books were very good. They had a lot of
competitive examination oriented subiect matter. After reading different G.K, books I read
Panorama Year Book 2021. This year book contained a large number of information
relevant to the coming competitive examinations. Although the cover of this book was not
attractive but the subject matter was according to the demands and requirement of students.
That day I learnt that one should not judge a book by its cover.

Subject: pathetic condition of child labours

Sir

Through the columns of your widely circulated newspaper, I would like to draw the attention
of the people and the concerned authorities towards a large number of children below teens
who are working in brick kilns under most in human conditions.

These brick kilns are situated in the out skirts of cities. These child labourers have to work
more than 9 to 10 hours a day with a short break after lunch. They are being provided with
insufficient meals. They have to work every day without break. These child labourers might
have come from a remote village or they might have been abandoned by the parents or they
might be orphans. But they all are the citizens of our country India the largest democratic
country of the world.

I want to suggest that Government of India should open residential schools from class
Nursery to class V in every district. Police men should go to every brick kiln and should take
out child labourers. Brick kiln owner should be punished for his act. A fine of & 50,000 should
be imposed on faulty brick kiln owner. These children should be admitted in the residential
schools. These schools should start from Nursery class to V class. Nursery trained teachers
should be appointed in these schools. After class V government should admit these children
in residential schools like Jawahar Navo Vidyalayas run by Government of India.Government
of India should provide proper financial support to these helpless children for leading a good
life. I request you to publish this letter in your esteemed newspaper.

Yours sincerely
