On the other hand, the consumption rate of Pizza gradually declines from 1970 to 1975 from 300 to 280. While it quickly collapse between 1975 to 1980 from 280 to 200. However, within a time span of ten years it remains constant. The line graph illustrates the consumption trends of three types of fast food— hamburgers, fish and chips, and pizza—in Great Britain from 1970 to 1990. Overall, the graph reveals that while hamburger consumption showed a steady upward trajectory with a significant surge after 1985, fish and chips experienced a marked increase from 1980 onwards. In contrast, pizza consumption declined consistently after 1982 and remained stable thereafter. From 1970 to 1980, the consumption of hamburgers and fish and chips increased gradually. Specifically, hamburger consumption rose from approximately 0 to 100 units, while fish and chips consumption grew from 90 to 100 units. However, after 1980, there was a substantial increase in the consumption of fish and chips, peaking at around 500 units by 1990. Conversely, hamburger consumption, which remained relatively stable at around 100 units between 1980 and 1985, saw a dramatic rise thereafter, reaching its peak at 300 units in 1990. Pizza consumption, on the other hand, began at 300 units in 1970 and experienced a slight decline to 280 units by 1975. This was followed by a more pronounced decrease to 200 units by 1980. After this decline, pizza consumption stabilized at this lower level throughout the remaining decade. In summary, the data highlights a clear shift in consumer preferences over the two decades, with hamburgers and fish and chips gaining popularity, while pizza saw a decline in consumption.
