SPECIFIC DETAILS
● 1 graph=1 paragraph (if not directly comparable)

● Present all of the relevant figures (include all necessary information but not all the
details)
● Avoid enumeration of numbers
● With time element, Past/Future tense. Without time element- Present tense.
● Not all figures should be written, max of 15 figures only

LINE GRAPH
● Consider the trends first before the figures
○ Increasing
○ Decreasing
○ Static
○ Fluctuating
● Some figures are not exact, approximate to the nearest exact value (Qualifiers: around,
about, nearly etc.)
● For graphs with time element as part of the axis, always start from the past going to
present so as to denote TREND
● For graphs without time element, attack your work by starting with the highest variable
down to the lowest

QUALIFIERS
● About

BAR GRAPH
● Analyze trends first (if possible)
● Group the trends that have similarities/differences in value
● If there are no trends, rank the figures from highest to lowest
● Use the legends or variables to organize the information

FINAL REMINDERS
● Do not write a title
● Do not copy the task description and use it as an introduction
● Do not split into two (encyclo-pedia)
● Use block format
