NEW LDR INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL

Lesson Plan
Subject: Computer Sci. Grade: 6
Designing webpages using HTML 5
Name: Sheetal Khatri Date: 28/09/2024

When creating lesson plans, keep these points in mind:

Focus on the student: Make the learning experience centered around the student, letting them take an active
role.
Change the teacher’s role: Be flexible—sometimes you’ll guide, other times assess or help students as they
learn.
Give students choice: Let them make decisions or take more control over their learning.
Connect lessons to real life: Bring real-world issues or examples into the classroom to make learning
relevant.
Use informal assessments: Check their understanding regularly in informal ways to guide learning, not just
test them.
Encourage critical thinking: Help students go beyond basic knowledge and push them to think deeply.
Include everyone: Make sure every student feels part of the learning process and gets a chance to contribute.
Build skills, not just knowledge: Focus on helping students develop practical skills and competencies for
your subject.
Competency-Based Education: Help students show their learning by mastering key skills at their own pace,
with a focus on real-world applications.
Consider different learning styles: Adapt your lessons to fit the different ways students learn best.
