Table 1 presents the comparison in Mathematics Performance between Non-board Course


and Board Course. As shown in the table that there is a no significant difference in Mathematics
Performance for Non-board and Board Course. There were no significant differences (t(276) =
1.485, p = .139) in scores for Non-board (M = 87.60, SD = 4.29) and Board Course (M = 86.54,
SD = 4.95).
The magnitude of the differences in the means (mean difference = 1.06, 95% CI: -.34336 to
2.45468) was non-significant. Hence, H 1 was not supported.
