Can you share some of your

favorite poems?

Amazing!

Now I want you to imagine that

we are kings and queens of
poems. I want you to look under
your armchairs. Can you please
take it and tell me what it is?

Very good class. Now that you

have your crowns. You can see
that there’s a special line there,
all you must do is to write using
your pencil what kind of kings
and queens of poems would you
like to be, for example I want to
be the “Queen of Poems of
Love.”

Please wear your crowns as we

are going to explore the magic
of poems.

Your majesties, are you ready to

read a poem about kings and
queens?

“The Tale of Kings and

Queen”

In a castle tall, with walls of

stone,
Kings wear crowns, they sit on
thrones.
With knights so brave, and
jesters’ fun,
Their reign is bright like the
morning sun.
The queen in robes of gold and
green,
She rules with kindness, fair and
keen.
From "pair" to "pear", her
wisdom shows,
In every word, her kindness
glows.

The king and queen, they dance

and sing,
Their subjects cheer, the bells
do ring.
From "here" to "hear", their
voices clear,
In every cheer, their love is
near.

But in the dark, when night

does fall,
The castle sleeps, behind its
wall.
From "knight" to "night", the
stars do gleam,
In every dream, it's all a dream.

So, let's learn more, of kings

and queens,
In books and tales, in lands
unseen.
From "seen" to "scene", their
stories grow,
In every row, we'll learn and
know.

Now that you have read the

poem. I have here a treasure
box, just your hands if you want
to pick a treasure box. Am I
clear your majesties?

Nice One!

learning about homonyms is

That’s right! It is important to

learn homonyms because it
helps us understand words

learn homonyms, we learn that
some words sound the same
but have different meanings
and spellings.

Your majesties, do you

understand what Homonyms

is on my right side.

I will be giving you 1 scroll
