Launch the Microsoft Access
Name the three buttons at the left side of the window:

Describe the window that appeared. Backstage View
Click Get Started button. Look at the left side of the window. Scroll down.

Name the tabs of the MS Access:

What filename can you see in the Title bar? Database (Access 2007 – 2016 File Format) - Access
How can you differentiate the icons of the Access objects? They help create the datasheet.
What filename can you find in the Database / Object tab? Student list
Choose the 12-number data type in the next field, choose Long text data type in the next field.
Type Names in field 1, Mobile Number in field 2 and Address for field 3.
What number is displayed in the Mobile Number field? 0
What did you notice in the ID field? I noticed that it added numbers.
Type Written Activity and Performance Task 3.4 - your name in the Table name box and click OK.
What did you observe? It gave me a warning.
What is the warning all about? The object I entered doesn’t follow Microsoft Access object-
naming rules.
Remove the period in the filename and change to dash, and click OK. Save this document as PDF file and
submit in the LMS.
