Writing a reaction paper is not just an expression of one’s

opinion or take on something but it can be a reasonable
response to the world. By writing one, you can lend a helping
hand to those people who are looking for answers and are
confused on what to do or what to choose. You help them
process their experience and come up with a good decision. A
reaction paper can also be an eye opener to the readers. It
helps them get a view at something from a different
perspective and get meaning to what seems unimportant.

What is a reflection paper?
How does it differ from a reaction paper?
SLIDESMANIA.COM
What is a reflection paper?
How does it differ from a reaction paper?
▪ Reaction papers and reflection papers are two
types of essays often considered as synonymous.

▪ Both types of papers feature a student’s reaction

or thoughts regarding a certain topic, book, or film.

▪ The primary difference lays in the type of focus the

student places on the topic about which he is writing.
SLIDESMANIA.COM
What is a reflection paper?
How does it differ from a reaction paper?
➢ REFLECTION paper will be more focused on how much a certain
recollection has impacted you as a person, as a son, daughter to
your mother.. You can also write your realizations or learnings
and apply it to become a better child to your parents or person.
➢ REACTION paper will be more focused on your agreement or
disagreement perhaps to the ideas and lecture of the facilitator,
or comment about the food served to you, or the kind of service
that the resort has rendered.. Similar to writing a journal because
this is more opinionated than factual.

REFLECTION PAPER
It’s an avenue for students to focus on
what they have learned rather than their
feelings or thoughts about the topic.
SLIDESMANIA.COM
REFLECTION PAPER
It gives an opportunity for
students to express how an article,
lesson, lecture or experience shapes
their understanding
SLIDESMANIA.COM
REFLECTION PAPER
This can pave the way for
students to apply their faith and
belief in connection to what is being
reflected.

GO PLACIDLY amid the noise and the haste, and remember what
peace there may be in silence. As far as possible, without
surrender, be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even to
the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons; they are vexatious to the
spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain
or bitter, for always there will be greater and lesser persons than
yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in
your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the
changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of
SLIDESMANIA.COM

trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many
persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism.
Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for
in the face of all aridity and disenchantment, it is as perennial as the grass.
Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of
youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not
distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and
loneliness.
Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the
universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it
should. Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be. And
whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace
in your soul. With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful

world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.
