For each element draw the inner electrons blue and the valence (outer) electrons red. The circles
represent electron shells. On the line next to the element, put the number of valence electrons.
Remember: Level 1 (closest to the nucleus) can hold a maximum of 2e, Level 2 can hold a max of 8e,
Level 3 can hold a max of 18e.
Complete the table. The first two rows have been done for you.
