Sub: Inputs and suggestions for planning the implementation mechanism for implementing social security for
the gig workers, based on the existing SSCode & Rules
On behalf of Gig Workers Association, we are delighted to learn that the Ministry of Labour and Employment is the

Security Code, 2020 that was passed by Loksabha to ensure security for all workers in the unorganised sector

light of the social security code and the rules, we are pleased to submit the following pointers towards the
implementation mechanism for the gig workers in reference to the social security code provisions. In Colum C, we
have placed suggestions for the action forward which may be considered.
