We have seen that a logical statement can be either true or false i.e. it can have truth value either T or F. A similar situation exists in various electrical devices. For example, an electric switch can be on or off. In 1930 Claude Shannan noticed an analogy between operation of switching circuits and operation of logical connectiv. In an electric circuit, switches are connected by wires. If the switch is ‘or allows the electric current to pass through, it.
