This document describes several excitation system models used in power system simulations: 1. Exciter AC7B and ESAC7B - IEEE 421.5 2005 Type AC7B excitation system model supported by PSSE and PSLF software. 2. Exciter models BPA_EA through BPA_FH - Various excitation system models in the public domain available from Bonneville Power Administration including Westinghouse, GE, and WSCC models. 3. Block diagrams and transfer functions are provided for each excitation system model. State variables are listed for each model.
