    A Crown of Light For the Parents of People of the Quraan

    From Muadth bin Anas radi Allahu anhu that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhe wa sallam said, Whoever reads the Quraan and acts according to what is in it, his parents will made to wear a crown on the Day of Standing, its light will be better than the light of the sun in the houses of the world, so what is your thought about the one who has done this (i.e. the one who read the Quraan and acted according it)?! Grading of this hadith: Imam Abu Dawud reported it # 1453 in the Book of Prayer, and Shaykh Al-Albanee may Allah have mercy on him graded it w eak in Almiskaah # 2139

    Whoever reads the Quraan, studies it, and acts according to it; his parents will be made to wear a crown of light on the Day of Standing, its light is like the light of the sun, and his parents will be made to wear two garments, which the world did not give to them, so they will say, By what have we obtained this? So, it will be said, due to your child up holding the Quraan. Grading of this hadith: Shaykh Al-Albanee graded it hasan due to other than it in Sahih At-targeeb # 1434
