Topic 13: Shopping

1. Do you enjoy shopping?


Answer: Definitely! I love shopping because that’s one
of the best unwinding moments for me. Whenever I buy
my favorite stuff such as shoes, clothes or bags and also
some essential thing makes me feel delighted. It always
elevates my mood.
Answer 2: Yes, I do but I don’t splurge ( spending
extravagantly)on buying things that are not valuable.
I’m quite a frugal ( careful or cautious)person and
always having a second thought every time I spend on
something which are not necessary for me.
2. How often do you go shopping?
Answer: It depends if for a monthly consumption twice.
However, if I have an eye on something that fascinates
me I often end up buying it without second thought.
3. Who does most of the shopping in your household?
Answer: No one is restricted to do shopping in our
household. Sharing this kind of task creates unity and
harmony in the family. So everyone is glad to oblige (to
be helpful) in doing this stuff.
4. Do you often shop online?
Answer: Absolutely Yes! Online shopping is convenient
and wonderful because I can do it whenever it suits me.
Also you can purchase things abruptly and put forward
trendy fashion most of the time. There are many
retailers to choose from and often swiftly deliver your
goods within a period of 2 to 3 days. Shopping online is
a time saving task.
5. What sites do you shop on?
Answer: Such an entrancing question! There are two
online sites that I mostly rely on for shopping Lazada
and Shopee. They’ve got vast distributors that quite
overwhelming to shoppers and the rate of their
products are mostly reasonable. So shop wisely and
choose the widely known shops such these two.
6. What is the most expensive item that you have
purchased?
> Answer: I’m quite a practical person so I don’t
purchase a high end and expensive item unless I have a
valid reason to do. Of course, people differently define
expensive and I would not debate for that. Instead, I
will talk about the branded perfume I recently bought
and it’s one of my best loved scents. I was delighted for
the price offered by a fancy shop and as they said a
penny save is a penny earned.
7. Is shopping a popular activity in your country?
Answer: Yes, it’s very popular. We have a night market
in Hanoi which became famous to the locals and the
tourists. It’s usually a busiest night and lots of people
treat night market shopping as a kind of leisure activity,
rather than an annoying venture.
