2- INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

2. Double click and run installer


3. Wait for the dialog to appear and click the
Next button.

4. The License Agreement dialog appears.


Read the License agreement carefully and
click yes to continue if you accept the
terms, otherwise click No to exit the setup.

5. Choose destination folder for Nimsoft Robot

6. The Setup Type dialog appears. It shows two


options : Cloud installation and Normal
installation.
Select the Normal installation option. Click
Next.

For Cloud installation, a hub on a cloud


instance is assumed. If a hub external to the
cloud is used, the robot must be configured
with robotip_alias = <external IP of cloud
instance> after the cloud instance is created.

7. If more than one domain exists, the next


dialog asks you to select which Domain you
want the Robot to be part of, here please
select “Choose to connect to the network
interface through IP address” and enter
HUB’s IP. Click next

Note: Selecting the option Choose to connect to


the network interface through IP address,
you may select to attach the robot to a
specific Hub.

8. Now the installer will ask to enter HUB IP,


enter the HUB IP and click on next.

9. The Local IP address dialog appears where you


will then be asked to specify the IP address of
the hub computer you are installing on. Select
your server IP address. Click Next.

Note: The Local IP Address dialog will only be


shown when the computer has multiple
network interfaces.

10. Options screen appears. In the First probe


port you can specify the first port to be
used to start probes. Leave this field blank
to generate port numbers randomly. Click
next.

Enter 48000 as first probe port and don’t select


Passive mode.

11. Next dialog displays the settings selected in


the installation process. Click Next button to
start copying files.

12. A window appears, showing you the


installation progress. Wait until the
following dialog. Appears, confirming that
the installation progress is finished.
Click the Finish button to exit setup.

Verify the Nimsoft robot watcher service status, it


should be running.

3- VALIDATION PROCEDURE

1.Check of services.

To validate the procedure, please check on the server that the service “Nimsoft Robot Watcher"
is started

2.Check “D:\Program Files (x86)\Nimsoft\Robot\Robot.cfg” file for correct entry of Hub name and Hub
IP.

2- UNINSTALL INFORMATION

The package has to process the de-installation of the Application. Describe here everything
that needs to be persistent and / or removed when uninstalling the application

● Go to Control Panel.

● Go to Programs and then Programs and Features. Select ‘NimBUS Robot’ and uninstall it. Refer
screenshot below:

Following dialog box appears. Click on ‘Next’. Screenshots attached below for
