1. Good morning, everyone.

Graduation day is always a day of rejoicing for it marks the conclusion


of an educational journey and the commencement of a more challenging part of man’s quest for
a better life and future. Today signifies the culmination of many years of hard work in the
relentless pursuit of knowledge: knowledge that will enable a person to embrace opportunities
and take on challenges with clear vision and purpose. Friends, welcome to the 2 nd Graduation
Ceremony of Victorias National High School – Gaston Extension for the Academic Year 2021 -
2022 with the theme, “Gradweyt ng K to 12: Masigasig sa mga Pangarap at Matatag sa
mga Pagsubok.” Join me as we recognize the completers and their achievements.
2. To the members of the completing class and everyone watching today, my name is Jhea
Nartatez and I am the Master of Ceremony for the 2ND Graduation Ceremony of Victorias
National High School – Gaston Extension.
3. To formally begin our ceremony, may I request everyone to please rise for the Invocation to be
given by Everiel Yee, with honors to be followed by the singing of the Philippine National
Anthem, Victorias Hymn and Deped Victorias Hymn.
4. Welcoming you here for today’s event is especially meaningful as we honor our graduates and
celebrate their achievements. To formally welcome us all, may I call on Lerma A. Parcon, teacher
of Victorias National High School-Gaston Extension.
5. At this juncture, let us listen to a message from the Secretary of the Department of Education,
Secretary Leonor Magtolis Briones.
6. Let us also listen to a message from our DepEd Regional Director, Dr. Ramir B. Uytico, CESO III.
7. Ladies and gentlemen, let me call in the Congressman of 3rd District of Negros Occidental to
give his message, Honorable Jose Francisco Benitez.
8. Lend your ears to an inspirational message from our Schools Division Superintendent, Portia M.
Mallorca, PhD, CESO V.
9. At this point, let us hear a message from our beloved Mayor, the father of Victorias City, Hon.
Francis Frederick Palanca
10. Here’s a message to the completers from Mr. JOEGIE D. SUMUGAT, PhD, Assistant Principal II,
OIC-Office of the Principal III.
11. An inspirational message is to be given by our beloved Teacher-In-Charge, Mr. Gelex M.
Jacomilla.
12. The Graduation Ceremony also provides an opportunity to recognize VNHS - Gaston’s
outstanding faculty and staff – who are dedicated to provide the highest quality education and
to make a positive difference in the lives of our students even in the midst of pandemic. I am

13. Despite the struggles that came their way, completing the required school days was never a
blockade for the 80 students to pursue in completing the Grade 12 Level requirements. So,
without further-a-do, may I call on Mr. Gelex M. Jacomilla, the School Teacher-In-Charge to
present the candidates for graduation to the Schools Division Superintendent of Victorias City,
Portia M. Mallorca, PhD, CESO V.
14. To present the Grade 12 graduates, let us have their adviser, Ms. Racel H. Lucero.
15. Let’s proceed to the conferment of honors. To officially present to you the Academic Excellence
awardees, let us call in Mr. Gelex M. Jacomilla, Teacher-In-Charge.
16. To express the sentiment and words of gratitude of batch 2022, may I call on the academic
excellence awardee, Ms. Rizza Mae D. Arcenal, with honors.
17. Let us now hear our Graduating Class do their Pledge of Loyalty. May we request Jovelyn D.
Antonino, to lead their pledge.
18. Music is the expression of the soul. It moves emotions and feels with the movement of time.
Join our graduates as they sing their Song wherever they may be right now.
