Brad: Hi. Welcome to the tourist information centre. How can I help you?
Jill: Hi. I’m Jill. I’m here with my grandson, Jake, and we want to see the sights. What do you recommend?
Brad: There are lots of shops and restaurants in the town square. There’s a great market, too. There are
beautiful old buildings and an interesting art gallery in one of the buildings.
Jill: Actually, we bought some things at the market and we visited the art gallery this morning. We also had
lunch at the excellent La Taverna restaurant in the town square.
Brad: Great! Let’s see. There’s an aquarium and an interesting history museum in the city centre, or a sports
museum nearby, too.
Jill: Jake loves sport, so the sports museum sounds fun. Where is it?
Brad: It’s about a 15-minute walk from here. Leave the town square, walk over the bridge and keep walking
down Gold Street next to the river. Cross the road outside Bob’s Pub. Then turn left at the traffic lights.
The museum is opposite the petrol station.
Jill: Hmmm, it sounds like a long walk. Is there a bus?
Brad: There’s a tram. The tram stop is on Main Street. The tram comes every ten minutes.
Jill: That’s perfect. Thank you so much for your help.
Brad: You’re welcome! Have a good time at the museum.
