GUIDE QUESTIONS
1. How many planes are there in the
graph?
2. What does it imply about the
number of linear equation in the
system?

3. What is the intersection of these

3 planes?
Plane I, II, and III intersects at only
one point, P.

This implies that the 3 linear

equations in the system has the
solution (x, y, z).

The system is independent and

consistent

3. What is the intersection of these

3 planes?
Plane I, II, and III intersect at line 𝚤.

This implies that the 3 linear

equations in the system has
infinitely manu solutions.

The system is dependent and

3. What is the intersection of these

3 planes?
Plane I, II, and III overlaps each
other.

This implies that the 3 linear

equations in the system has
infinitely many solutions that
represent points on the plane.

The system is dependent and
