LabSolutions AOC-6000 Support kit installation problem Troubleshooting
<Phenomena>
After installing LabSolutions, when LabSolutions AOC-6000 Support Kit (Ver. 1.00 to 2.00) is installed,
the installation aborts with the message "Could not find LabSolutions. Please make sure that LabSolutions
is installed.".
<Cause of the Issue>
This problem is caused by a bug in the LabSolutions AOC -6000 support kit installer.
Installing the LabSolutions AOC -6000 Support Kit after installing the following versions of LabSolutions
will cause problems. (In the case of AOC-6000 control software for GCMSolution, this defect does not
occur.)
・ LabSolutions
LabSolutions LC/GC Ver.5.103 or later
LabSolutions DB Ver.6.103 or later
LabSolutions CS Ver.6.102 or later
・ LabSolutions AOC-6000 Support kit
Ver.1.00 to 2.00
<What to do>
Follow the instructions provided before installing LabSolutions AOC-6000 Support Kit.
1) Copy “OptionInstallerProblemFix.zip” to desktop.
2) Right-Click "OptionInstallerProblemFix.zip" and click [Extra All...]. The "Extract Compressed
(Zipped) Folders" screen appears.

3) On the "Extract Compressed (Zipped) Folders" screen, click the [Extract] button. The zip file is
extracted.
4) In the folder "OptionInstallerProblemFix", right-click "OptionInstallerProblemFix-AddReg.bat" and
click [Run as administrator]. The "User Account Control" screen appears.
NOTE:
If the following screen appears, click "More info" and then click "Run anyway".

5) Click the [Yes] button on the User Account Control screen. A command prompt appears.
6) Check the display of the command prompt screen. If "Succeeded." is displayed, it is successful.
・ NOTE: When the following message is displayed, it means that Optional software can be installed
correctly without running this batch. No problem.
・ NOTE: When the following message is displayed, it means that the batch file was not run as
administrator. Please check step #4 again and run as administrator.
7) Please install the AOC-6000 Software.

8) After the installation is complete, In the folder "OptionInstallerProblemFix", right-click
"OptionInstallerProblemFix-RemoveReg.bat" and click [Run as administrator]. The "User Account
Control" screen appears.
9) Click the [Yes] button on the User Account Control screen. A command prompt appears.
10) Check the display of the command prompt screen. If "Succeeded." is displayed, it is successful.
・ NOTE: When the following message is displayed, it means that the deletion target did not exist. No
problem.
・ NOTE: When the following message is displayed, it means that the batch file was not run as
administrator. Please check step #9 again and run as administrator.
