A. PROGRAM PROFILE

PROGRAM
TITLE 3 DAYS IN-SERVICE TRAINING FOR TEACHERS

In the continuous pursuit of excellence in providing quality professional development programs for teachers our school
set an In- Service Training for Teachers (INSET) on January 24-26,2024 respectively. This professional development training is
organized in school-based level to address and resolve areas of need identified by the teachers to continuously improve
their skills and competencies.

In-Service Training is conducted annually to address the continuing professional development of teachers. In line with the
RATIONALE new trends in teaching each topic included in the training is carefully selected and planned.

The training will be culmination of each teacher's skills and efforts towards creating better learning for the learners.
Furthermore, the training will ensure the participants are equipped with engaging strategies and approaches to facilitate
learning efficiently and effectively. It will also serve as an orientation for newly hired teachers to familiarize them in their work
environment.

PROGRAM  address the training needs of the teachers to help them update themselves with the current educational
OUTCOME trends.
 strengthen foundational skills like literacy and numeracy and intensify values formation among learners.

 consistently provide and improve learners with basic education services and relevant experiences and
opportunities, to gain teachers’ mastery in teaching strategies and relevant skills through professional

developmental activities, address learning gaps and relevant issues through various interventions to sustain
learner development.
