The purpose of a CPU fan and heat sink is to effectively dissipate the heat generated by the CPU during
operation. The CPU is the central processing unit of a
computer, responsible for executing instructions and
performing calculations. As the CPU operates, it
generates a significant amount of heat, which if left
unchecked, can lead to overheating and potential
damage to the CPU and other components.
The heat sink is a metal component, typically made of aluminum or copper, that is designed to absorb
the heat generated by the CPU. It has a large surface area and fins that allow for efficient heat transfer
from the CPU to the heat sink. The fan is then used to actively cool the heat sink by blowing air across
its surface, effectively removing the heat from the system.
Together, the heat sink and fan work to create a cooling solution that keeps the CPU operating within its
safe temperature range. This is crucial for maintaining the stability and reliability of the computer
system, as overheating can cause the CPU to throttle its performance or even shut down completely to
prevent damage.
INTERNAL SPEAKER
Alternatively referred to as an Onboard speaker, the Internal
Speaker/Motherboard Speaker is a very basic speaker found on the
computer motherboard that is responsible for Start-Up Beeps, ERROR
Beeping noises, and other Mono tones.
