CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories is one of the largest CSIR Laboratories and its primary
objective is to offer R&D support in Aerospace Engineering and related areas. CSIR-NAL proposes
to recruit Research Associate -1 (initially for a period of ten months which may be extended based
on the performance) under sponsored project.

Monthly emoluments: ₹ 47.000 /- pm (+ HRA as applicable)


Age: Upper age limit 35 years as on the last date of receipt of application, relaxable by 5 years for
SC/ST and 3 Years for OBC candidates, is applicable as per CSIR/GoI guidelines.

Note: The short listed candidate duly recommended by Screening/Selection Committee will be called
for an interview through email. The date and time of the interview will be intimated to the candidates
through e-mail/NAL website. No Transport Allowance will be paid for the attending the interview.
GENERAL CONDITIONS:

1. These positions are open only to Indian Nationals/Overseas citizens of India.


2. The appointment will be in the CSIR - National Aerospace Laboratories (NAL), Bengaluru,
under the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) which is an Autonomous Body
under Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India.
3. The engagement is for a temporary duration of one year (extendable at the discretion
component authority based on performance)
4. Age limit will be reckoned as on last date of receipt of application and no age relaxation will
be entertained.
5. The period of experience in a discipline/area of work, where prescribed, shall be counted with
effect from the date of acquiring the prescribed minimum educational qualifications for the
post.
6. As the Screening/Shortlisting of applications will be done on the basis of information furnished
through the Offline application form by the applicants, it is necessary that only accurate, full
and correct information is furnished by the applicants. Furnishing of wrong/false information
will be a disqualification and CSIR-NAL will NOT be responsible for any of the consequences
of furnishing such wrong/false information.
7. The decision of CSIR-NAL in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of
applications, mode of selection, conduct of Skill Test will be final and binding on the
candidates and no enquiry or correspondence will be entertained in this connection from any
individual or agency on behalf of the candidate. Candidates are binding on CSIR/CSIR-NAL
guidelines for any points not traversed in General conditions.
8. Canvassing in any form and/or bringing in any influence political or otherwise will be treated
as a disqualification for the post.
9. After the appointment, the candidate is advised to work for the project for minimum one year
duration
10. No additional grants/salary will be paid apart from the fellowship amount.
11. In case the candidate wishes to leave the job, prior information of minimum 1 month is
needed.
12. On account of official visit to other places/Laboratories/Institutes, he/she will be entitled for
reimbursement under the project as per rules of CSIR/CSIR-NAL.
