In this day and age, a number of environmental problems are becoming a hot topic
that many people concerned about. Some people believe that the problem of the
environment can be solved by increasing the fuel prices for cars and other vehicles.
From my point of view, I totally disagree with that statement because of some
reasons.
First of all, the world’s environmental problems can not completely be solved by
raising fuel expenses. Increasing costs cannot minimise the global dependence on
fuel. For example, despite the high costs of fuel people also cannot cut down on
using it. Furthermore, the ridiculous policy of fuel prices enacted by government
can cause the negative arguments among people. Additionally, this action will
cause an adverse impact on the world’s economy because of the dependence on
petrol of many industries. So that the increase in fuel prices can lead to unfavorable
consequences.
In addition, with the world’s industrialization, there are many effective ways to
solve this problem instead of raising fuel expenses. The easiest way is raising
people’s awareness of minimizing the emissions from cars. Instead of going to
work by private vehicles, people can also go by bus or bicycles. Besides, the most
sustainable solution to this problem is the alternative resources. For instance, wind
and tidal power can be changed by solar energy. That’s why there are many useful
tips that could be employed in other parts of the world to reduce global dependence
on fossil fuels.
In sum, raising the fuel prices is not the best solution to solve the environmental
problems. So that we can adopt many effective ways in order to decrease the
negative effects on the environment and protect our life.
