A. MOTIVATION:
ACITIVITY #1: 4 PICS 1 WORD
Directions: The teacher will divide the class into 4 groups. Their task is to guess
the complete word based on the 4 pictures.

Directions: With the same group, the students will guess the name of the
brand based on the tagline flashed in the screen and they will write their
answer in a 1 whole sheet of paper. The first group to guess and raise the
correct answer will earn 1 point.

What is Propaganda?
Propaganda is a form of communication that is aimed at influencing the attitudes,
perspectives and emotions of people or communities toward some cause or
position by presenting only one side of an argument. It is usually repeated and
presented over a wide variety of media in order to attract the interests of a greater
majority.

Practicing Every propaganda technique uses intentional words and expression to get the

3. Name-calling is the use of names that may evoke fear or hatred among the
viewers. The name-calling technique links a person or idea, to a negative symbol.
The most obvious type of name-calling involves bad names such as racist,
dictator, terrorist, rebel, protester, idiot, liar etc.
Example:
The picture shows a person holding a placard stating derogatory
words such as racist and spineless complicit pigs.

the students to identify its type:
