Learning objectives: • Draw and label scientific diagrams, according to scientific
drawing conventions.
• Draw common laboratory equipment individually and as
part of a larger set up. .

● Knowledge of common laboratory equipment

Vocabulary:
Beaker, Boss head & clamp, Bunsen burner, Clay triangle, Crucible and lid, Erlenmeyer flask,
Evaporating dish, Funnel, Heat proof mat, Measuring cylinder, Ring Stand, Stirring rod, Test Tubes,
Tripod, Watch glass, Wire Gauze Mat

Summary of Activities:
1. Distribute and complete bell work activity.
2. Discuss guided notes and slideshow, with students.
