Lesson Plan in Science Final.....
GRADE 3
LC: Describe the parts and functions of the sense organs of the human body.
OBJECTIVE: At the end of the lesson, the learners are expected to:
a. describe the different sense organ
b. appreciate the importance of the sense organ of the body
c. give the function of the different sense organ of the body
Bring the learners to the Science Laboratory. The teacher will show a
mannequin of the human body. Ask the pupils what kind and what could be
the use of sense organs of the human body. Observe how the pupils will try
to differentiate and figure out of how useful it is to the human body.
After showing the mannequin of the sense organ of the human body,
learners are going to answer the following questions:
PROCESS
1. The learners will be able to know and discover the different sense organ.
2. They will learn to give importance and how it works with the human body.
3. Learners can easily identify the function of the sense organ of the human
body.
LESSON PLAN IN SCIENCE
GRADE 4
LC: Communicate that the major organs work together to make the body
function properly.
OBJECTIVES: At the end of the lesson, the learners are expected to:
The teacher will introduce and describe the life size displays that the pupils
will be making during class time. The teacher will assign pupils to
cooperative groups and assign a particular system (circulatory, digestive,
nervous, and respiratory). The students will find out and explore what could
be the significance of our major organs to make the body function properly.
Each group must contribute and share their learning’s at the end of the
lesson.
After the discussion, the learners should answer the following questions:
PROCESS
1. The learners can easily list and identify the major organ of the human
body.
2. To discover the needs of human body and what is the effect of proper care
on our body.
3. In able to know the function for each system of the human body.
LC: describe the parts of the reproductive system and their function
OBJECTIVES: At the end of the lesson, the learners are expected to:
Learners will prepare and bring a cut outs of female reproductive system,
printed names of organ in a strip of paper, manila paper, paste, chart and
activity card. Learners will be divided into 5 groups and the teacher will call a
representative each group to report the output to the class.
Instruction:
1. Prepare all the materials: picture cut outs of female reproductive system,
printed names of organ in a strip of paper, Manila paper, paste, chart and
activity card.
2. Each group will discuss and brainstorm with what they search.
3. The pupils label each part of female reproductive system
4. After the discussion, the pupils will paste their final output in a manila
paper.
5. Each group will post their final output in the blackboard.
6. The Activity card represents of their output and answers the corresponding questions given.
7. The teacher will choose and call a representative each group to report the output to the class.
8. The teacher will discuss and gave additional background information of female reproductive
system.
After the discussion, learners are going to answer the following questions:
1. What are the parts of female reproductive system and describe its major parts?
2. How do you train yourself to practice proper hygiene and make it a daily habit?
3. Did you contribute and share your learning’s with your group mate?
PRODUCT
1. The learner’s knowledge will become broad when it comes to female reproductive system.
2. Make them realize of how important to take care our body and practice proper hygiene daily.
3. Learners can easily identify the relationship of female reproductive system and its major parts.
LC: Explain how the organs of each organ system work together.
OBJECTIVE: At the end of the lesson, the learners are expected to:
a. Students will be able to explain the main functions of the following body
systems: digestive, skeletal, respiratory, excretory, muscular and nervous
system.
b. Students will understand how each system is interconnected and be able
to explain how each system is reliant to each other.
c. Student will know the main purpose of each body systems and what the
main parts each.
The teacher will group the pupils into four groups. Each representative in
the group will pick one of the seven systems (Excretory, Digestive,
Respiratory, Circulatory, Muscular, Skeletal and Nervous (Challenge System)
listed below for their portion of research. They will act as a doctor and each
doctor will be responsible for the following information of what assigned
organ they pick. Doctors will then choose a presentation, visual model
(poster, newspaper, or brochure) or anything which they will feel creative
and will get information from the patients. All options must be approved by
the teacher and use a technology, in either the creation, presentation or
both.
Instruction:
STEP #1
Phase 1 (Research)
1. The teacher will place you into teams of 4 to 6 pupils
2. You will review the project with your team and each of you will pick one
system to research.
3. Log into Google Classroom and access your planning and study guide.
4. Research your assigned organ system and answer the on the provided
study guide. This needs to be turned in and will be part of your grade.
5. You can use links on the resources tab to your research.
They will be given of two days to complete the research, if they need
more time to research, they will need to do some homework.
Once they completed this portion of their study guide, they will turn it
through Google Classroom.
STEP #3(Presentation)
Phase 3
1. Each representative of the group will present their output in the class of
integrated human body system project. They will present the human body to
their classmates who are the patients
to educate them about how body works and how to take care of it.
2. Determine what sources you will need. Do you need more time in the lab
for a slideshow?
How will you lay out with your presentation? Who will responsible for what? If
your group stuck on this, your teacher may have ideas that can be
suggested. All projects must be approved by your teacher.
3. Put your visual presentation. Remember each member of the group must
participate and each system must be represented in the system.
After the presentation, each learners must answer the following questions
that will be given:
