1. Exploration
A.Summary
The summary should give a preview of what evaluator will find in the work in no more than 150 words. Here you indicate
three main theoretical elements: concisely the topic of work, refer briefly to the methodology, and finally, the most
important outcome.
B. Background information
Establish the context by providing a brief and balanced review of the pertinent published literature that is available on the
subject.
The structure of the background can be thought of as an inverted triangle - the broadest part at the top representing the
most general information and focusing down to the specific problem you studied. Organize the information to present the
more general aspects of the topic early in the Introduction, then narrow toward the more specific topical. Write the
scientific context, previous investigation of the same theme, problem and motivation. Use at least one page and include 3
cites.
C.Objective
Statement to write what you want to prove, find or establish with the development of this investigation.
D. Research question
Good questions are stated in a way that frame, or describes, a problem, and are able to be tested using accepted
scientific methods. Significant theory questions require a prior knowledge. A good scientific question, when answered,
leads to other good questions. This has to be focused on a research problem in which you must name the independent
and dependent variables. (Add hypothesis)
E.Variables
Variable Independent: Only one, write how are the five conditions for it
Controlled Variables: All you require, minimum five, explain in a sentence how they will be controlled.
F. Materials
Table 1: Materials

Write here your names
G.Experimental procedure
Write in past tense time the procedure performed to measure the dependent and independent variables in the experiment,
as the controlled variables were controlled, develop a method to collect sufficient relevant data, write how many data did
you collected and briefly what will you do with it.
2. ANALYSIS
A.Raw Data
Write a short introduction before the raw data table, in a sentence explain what it contains, then include the number of the
table and its title.
In the table, properly record the quantitative raw data including units with equal number of decimal, always include the
uncertainties of raw data, minimum 5 trials per 5 levels of the independent variable count with total of 25 data to have an
appropriate processing data.
B.Qualitative Observations
Write everything that was observed during the experiment without complex measurements
example:
• Water always maintained its color. The amount of water remained constant throughout data collection.

• When the ice cube began to steam lines appear on the walls of the beaker because of the drop in temperature was
added.
C.Uncertainty of results
The results can present wide variations, discuss reasons of, write possible mistakes done during the procedure that likely
affect the raw data collecting, express results with their uncertainties, specifying how they were calculated. As the margin
of error and the analysis. Check carefully raw data and describe anomalous values in case they be presented.
D. Data Processing
Write reasons why you have chosen the way of processing data (addition, average, subtraction, variation, correlation or
some other formulas, standard deviation etc.)
Write how the processing of data leads to reach the goal and / or answers to your research question.
Include a table with processing data and then the graph with the results obtained in the development of processing data.
The graphs must be numbered, it must have a title and a short introduction
The graphs must contain error bars, equation of the graph and its corresponding correlation coefficient in case you
calculated it. Include the analysis of the graph.
E.Discussion of Results
In this section we explain the analysis of processed data. For example, the observed dependencies between variables,
comparing the data with a proposed model, or the similarities and discrepancies with other results. If the study proposes a
model that tries to account for the data, if the model is original work, the description should be as clear as possible; or if a
model taken from other studies was used, you must consult at least 3 source. A comparison of your results with previous
scientific field results is necessary, present similarities and differences of the materials, methods and procedures used in
order to state a scientific support and deny or confirm your hypothesis and allow you to conclude.
3. EVALUATION
A.Conclusions
In this section you have objectively discuss what you have learned from the experiment, and synthesize the
consequences and implications that are associated with our results. The findings should refer primarily to the evidence
collected or found in the experiment, remember that the conclusions are based on the objectives and data, confirm or
deny them and argue why their results. Conclusions should be fully relevant to the research question and have the full
backing of the data presented. In this section at least 3 cites must be used.
