VEHICAL MANAGMENT

PROPOSAL
VEHICLE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Front End: HTML


Back End: PHP (CodeIgniter Framework)
Database: MySQL

Users
a. Admin

Will be managing all aspects of the SYSTEM including CRUD (Create, Read, Update and Delete)
operations and will have control over what employees can access.

b. Employee

Will have basic usage of the system allowed by the admin.

Modules

Log
This section will contain all data and operations related to the entries including: All CRUD
operations will be allowed for admin side and if allowed to the employee side as well. Forms for
each of the following will be prepared and data will be stored.
 Maintenance Log
 Fuel Log
 Driver Record
 Mileage Record
 Tax Record

Reports
This section will manage the reporting of the added data. Reports generated will be able to be of the
following category (Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Yearly, and Specified Date Range). Reports will be filtered by
vehicle, maintenance type, date since, mileage limit etc.

 Maintenance Reports
 Mileage Reports
 Fuel Reports
 Driver Reports
 Tax Reports

Visualization
This section will manage the visualization of the data loggedusing Google Charts API and High Charts API
including:

 Bar Chart
 Line Chart
 Pie Chart
 Histogram
