WHAT IS ??
Fuzzy logic
Fuzzy logic is a variable processing approach
that allows several possible truth values to
be processed through the same variable.
Fuzzy logic has membership degrees in the
range 0 to 1. Fuzzy logic is used to translate a
quantity that is expressed using language
(linguistic), for example the speed of a
vehicle that is expressed as slow, rather fast,
fast, and very fast.

Fuzzy Logic Design for Soil

Moisture and Plant Temperature
Control System
ABSTRAK
Soil moisture and temperature are parameters that plants need in order to grow. In
determining soil moisture and temperature that is suitable for plants requires a
controller system. This controller system uses Raspberry Pi as an input data
processor into output. This controller system is designed using fuzzy logic as a
decision-making method to maintain good soil moisture and temperature for
plants. Fuzzy logic is one of the decision support systems that is suitable for
application to the control system. Fuzzy logic consists of fuzzification, fuzzy rule
formation and defuzification. This fuzzy logic uses two inputs and two outputs. The
two inputs are soil moisture level and temperature degree. The desired output is
the time needed to maintain soil moisture and temperature to stay in accordance
with the needs of plants.
METODE
In the detection of soil moisture and temperature of the plant
environment, using YL-69 and DHT11 sensors.

Data will be sent to the Raspberry Pi in the form of soil

moisture levels and temperature degrees.
The data will be processed in accordance with fuzzy design
according to the fuzzy rules that have been made to get an
output in the form of a value of the length of time needed to
maintain soil moisture and temperature.
The output is processed by the water pump and fan as part of
the control system on the plant.
METODE
1. Designing fuzzy logic by determining the set of membership for each sensor
input and determining the set of water pump and fan outputs to control soil
moisture and temperature in plants.
2. Simulating sugeno type fuzzy logic using matlab for data accuracy.
3. Designing a Raspberry Pi microprocessor using soil moisture and temperature
sensors, namely YL-69 and DHT11 sensors.
4. Testing the DHT11 temperature sensor by monitoring on a PC
5. Testing the YL-69 soil moisture sensor by monitoring on a PC
6. Testing the temperature and humidity control system by monitoring on a PC.

conclusion
From the results of the research that has been carried out, the conclusions obtained are as follows.
1. The use of fuzzy logic in the control system as a whole has a success rate of 80%, very good for
the control system because of its high accuracy.
2. In the temperature control system, the success rate can be disrupted due to various factors,
such as In the temperature control system, the success rate can be disrupted due to various
factors, such as the disruption of sending temperature sensor data to the Raspberry Pi because
the sensor is slow in detecting the temperature to get data. to get data. Therefore, the resulting
output is also late and the fan takes longer to turn on. life. This soil moisture and temperature
control system is designed with an automatic system using the Sugeno fuzzy logic method.
Sugeno method fuzzy logic. The Sugeno method is suitable for control systems because it uses
the If-Then function in obtaining fuzzy logic output results. If-Then function in obtaining fuzzy
