CS First Unplugged is a set of activities that introduce students to CS Online resources

Implementation Options
Fully remote - Students can complete the booklet at home without immediate support. Just give them the
activity booklet and let them run with it.

Blended or in-person - Every activity has opportunities for students to collaborate with each other, if that’s
possible for your class. In particular Encode an emoji and Send a secret message work great in pairs. See the full

Plugging it in with Scratch


Each activity includes an optional “plug it in” Scratch project. These projects show students how the concepts they
are learning offline can be implemented in a program. And they don’t require any coding!
