• Consider using a unique and
original looking typeface
• Create your own typeface (if you
have the knowledge)
Letter mark
• Typeface based logo
• Usually consists out of the first
letter or initials of a company name
Combination mark
• Combines an icon and wordmark
• Allows flexibility to use either only
the icon or the wordmark
Emblem
• In the form of a crest
• Combines letters, words & icons
• Consists out of many elements
• Legibility is difficult to achieve
• Adds a sense of quality & formality
