Position: Full Stack Developer Summer Internship

Location: Remote for 3 months

Description:

Polypo is an innovative FashionTech startup empowering brands and retailers with cutting-edge
technology solutions. We are looking for a passionate Full Stack Developer intern to join our team
this summer.

As a Full Stack Developer intern at Polypo, you will work on front-end and back-end development,
as well as technology integrations. You will collaborate with a dynamic team of developers and
designers to create effective and user-friendly experiences.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or have pursued a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or


a related field.
• Knowledge or experience with front-end frameworks React and Typescript.
• Familiarity with backend technologies including Python, Docker, PHP, API integrations, and
SQL databases.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Keen eye for details and sensitivity for design.

Responsibilities:

• Implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces using React and TypeScript.


• Develop new features on the dashboard using React.
• Develop backend services with Python for the API server, manage databases, and handle
server-side logic.
• Work with PHP to manage and customize our WordPress sites.
• Utilize Azure Cloud for infrastructure and Azure DevOps for task management, along with
GitHub for code repositories.
• Collaborate with our team to brainstorm and develop new features, continuously improving
our product offerings.
Desirable:

• You are open to work with product designers and capable of converting designs from tools
like Figma into high-quality React components.
• You are eager to break down project requirements into actionable, iterative steps.
• You can work independently and ask for guidance and feedback when needed.
• You have a strong attitude towards taking responsibility, making sure you’re clear on what
you’re doing and why, and then communicating progress over awaiting tasks.
• You believe in iterative development, release, get feedback, and improve.
• You have a keen interest in and use ChatGPT or other LLM’s on a regular basis.
• You have explored some projects utilizing OpenAI APIs or similar.
• You may have utilized Machine Learning in past projects.
• You are proactive and engaged, always staying updated on related trends.
• You are motivated and have a passion for innovation and problem solving.
