There are three levels (or viewpoints) of the Circle you must master. They
are:
1. Scales
2. Chords
3. Progressions

We’ll only focus on scales here and we cover the other two in our books on
progressions and songs.

Each key has a corresponding Major scale and they’re separated by how
many Sharps or Flats they have.

this way.
You should see the relationships between the keys and WHY they’re closely
related.

Once you learn your scales using fourths and fifths, it will be much easier to
memorize them all.

MINOR SCALES
The good news is, if you know your Majors you already know minors.
OR
“If you know your Majors, You know your minors.”
So to find the minor scale, all you have to do is go to the 6 th tone of the Major
scale and play the exact same scale, but now starting on the 6th tone —
that’s it!
By playing the 6th tone to the 6th tone of any major scale, you have a minor
scale!

to one another — this is the starting point to playing music.
Scales are like the ABCs to the music language — without them, you won’t
be able to create chords, play progressions and in turn, play songs.
