St. Francis Xavier, a welcoming faith community lovingly sharing the gifts of God.

4TH SUNDAY OF ADVENT

DECEMBER 18TH, 2011
PRAYERS FOR THE DECEASED: We pray for our loved ones who have died recently. PRAYERS FOR THE SICK AND SHUT-IN: Let us raise up in prayer those who seek Gods healing love, those at the hospital, hospice and at home especially Joan Prince. May your struggle be consoled by Christs love.

CHRISTMAS GIVING AND RECEIVING: Each year we are asked to respond to requests at this time families of year to assist the needs of families and individuals who experience hardship during this season. Our Parish must recognize our responsibility to act in charity. To do so we rely on your assistance well. used as well. Your kind donations to the Care Fund through gift cards and monetary gifts are used to outreach these requests. Please consider assisting the need of the community by donating to the Parish Care Fund clearly marked on your donation envelope. COMMUNION TO THE SICK & SHUT-INS We express gratitude to those who share in this ministry. An effort is made to greet these people at Christmas and Easter by the pastor. If you know someone who cannot be with us and would appreciate the sacraments please call the parish office. ON OUR WAY WITH JESUS: On Saturday, December 3rd we celebrated the Sacrament of Reconciliation with our young people and their parents who are on a year-long experience of coming to know Gods gift to us in the sacraments. As we have come to know Gods love in this special way of forgiving us may you truly feel much blessing as you move on to prepare for the table of Eucharist.
